The Spanish F18 Class Association and the Club Náutico Puerto Sherry would be honored to host the Worlds Championship F18 in 2019 at the Bay of Cádiz.

Arguably, one of the finest venues in the south of Europe, the Bay of Cádiz has hosted major World and European Championships for classes such as Laser, 470, RS:X, Star, J80, etc . The host club is ready to work with F18 International in order to have a memorable World Championship. The pleasant sailing conditions of the Bay of Cádiz, its central location, and a range of accommodations for different budgets, make Puerto Sherry a unique and exciting venue. We believe that the class would benefit from such event being hosted in this southern European region and would gain in terms of new teams entering the international F18 regattas in the future.

You will find attached the presentation of past World events in Spain, the “Bid Book”, and some further information. We have had in the past great experiences, from F18 to classic sailing So I am confident this would be a great success too.

We would be honoured to host this event. Puerto Sherry is a spectacular location and the experienced Club Náutico Puerto Sherry will deliver a memorable event for the participating teams, guests and visitors.
